Overview

LUMEN is a SaaS analytics product website built around the physics of emitted light. A dark atmospheric environment where every element glows, pulses, or reflects light — the interface as an illumination source.

Challenge

Dark mode is often just inverted light mode. We needed a fundamentally different approach: darkness as canvas, light as medium. Every element emitting light, not reflecting it.

Solution

Obsidian layer system with 4 depth levels, each progressively lighter. Luminescent palette: cyan + violet + amber. Cursor-following radial glow on feature cards. Light-pipe navigation with scroll-linked color shift. Keycap 3D buttons with glow projection. Cosmic shadows. Canvas live chart with glow. Telemetry ticker in footer.
